In the 1950s the Golden Press, publisher of Little Golden Books, produced a series of children's activity books centered on stickers. The books carried a theme and pages of educational text. Each page had a place to stick one of the gummed, perforated stickers included with the books. Golden collaborated with Disney on several different books, based on popular films, series, and documentaries. This example focuses on Disney's wildly popular television series "Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier."
