Actor Bharat Bhushan in Gyarah Hazar Ladkian (1962)

Gyara Hazar Ladkian (1962) directed by K.A. Abbas and co-produced and co-written with poet Ali
Sardar Jafri, starred Bharat Bhushan and Mala Sinha in leading roles along with Helen, Murad,
and Nadira. Bhushan plays the role of Puran, a lawyer and journalist in the film. The title and the title song pay tribute to the labour of thousands of working women across professions in India. The film also credited Faiz Ahmed Faiz.
