One question that will never be answered is from where we came. Before science could answer this question, religion was used to reconcile this unknown. In Rena Small’s Adam and Eve, Who Dunit, Adam? biblical origins of mankind, and its transgressions, is called into question. Small’s insertion of ironic humor in the photograph, where Adam holds the forbidden fruit in front of Eve’s slightly open mouth, challenges preconceived notions of our patriarchal society.
