ADE Sound Lab Art Program

Cinechine' is an installation that allows the audience to experience the phenomenon of optical sound in physical proportions by projecting light rays onto rotating discs. Constantly fluctuating light frequencies are picked up by photosensitive speakers and then converted into sound. This constant interaction between light and sound is influenced by the nature of the projection, shutter speed and rhythm of the machine.
