Adeyemi Oseni: Restoration Artist and Member of the New Sacred Art Movement

Adeyemi Oseni worked for many years as an artisan assisting Susanne Wenger, Adebisi Akanji, Ojewale Ammo and Saka Aremu create their beautiful and sometimes monumental sculptures in the groves.Adeyemi is a now master restoration artist guided by the leader of the New Sacred Art Movement, Sangodare Ajala.
Adeyemi makes cement sculptures depicting Yorùbá deities in his own unique style which are for sale in the shop in Susanne Wenger’s house and can also be found in many private art collections.
