Ado Awaye suspended lake

Ado Awaye lake is one of the only two suspended lakes in the world. It is situated about 20km west of Iseyin in Oyo State. The lake's natural formation, teeming biodiversity, unspoilt serene surroundings are a natural treasure. The Ado-Awaye suspeneded lake sits on one of the crests of rocks commonly referred to in surveyor’s language as the “sleeping lion”. The pictureque view from the top of the rock is magical.
