Panel from the Adoration of the Holy Cross altarpiece in the town of Blesa (Teruel). This is one of the best altarpiece paintings whose subject, the adoration of the Holy Cross, closes the cycle of discovery and exaltation to which it is devoted.

The composition centers on a cross emerging from a crystal sphere. The faces are especially natural; the characters' dress is rich and imaginative with velvet, brocade, veil, ermine fur, feathers, headpieces, and jewelry. The panel clearly shows the influence of Bartolomé Bermejo and Rogier van der Weyden.
