Adoration of the Magi

In the foreground, occupying two thirds of the picture, the painter presents the protagonists of this episode of the infancy of Christ, grouped in two separate sets of figures which contrast in the way they are arranged in the composition.
In the representation of the Holy Family, the author accentuated the values of light and transparency, using a palate of colours that tend to be warm. In the representation of the Magi, on the left side of the composition, he opted for colder tones and for a less intense luminosity.
