Axe which is used to hollow out the logs for beehives. It is used as an adze (with 90 degree turn) for cutting the inside of a log or as adze/axe (with a 45 degree angle) for cutting the sides of the log. It was not used like an axe at 0 degree.. Made by men and used by men and premorans. The handle is made from "Kitandusta" tree. The blade made by the Kunono/Maasai blacksmith near ololung, Narok District.
