Chennai Rail Museum showcases India's rich rail heritage

Chennai Rail Museum was inaugurated on the 31 st of March 2002. It adjoins the Furnishing Division of the Integral Coach Factory, the oldest and leading rail coach manufacturer in the county. The museum has five indoor galleries and a large outdoor park for exhibits. Recent activities were the creation of an ‘Art Gallery’ and renovation of the ‘Diamond Jubilee Gallery’.
