Agave Knife

The grimy handle and polished blade on this rare hafted agave knife from Shumla Cave 5 is testament to its many hours of use harvesting sotol and agave. Hafted examples such as this provide clear evidence of how stone tools were used. The knife handle measures 25 cm (9.8 inches) in length.
