Sculpturesque flower with white petals. The stem and three small leaves are decorated with green enamel, there is small ruby pistil between the petals. In 17th century Hungarian and Transylvanian inventories we often come across aigrettes as female jewels. Both married and unmarried women used to wear these aigrettes in their hair or buns. Thanks to their small springs, they made the wearer more beautiful as their trembled slightly while walking or dancing.
