Sadly, there are so many rapes and crimes happening to women in India.
I was asked by the local community to paint to raise awareness about this
issue and the rights for women and children. I painted image of Rani Lakshmibai,
she was a queen and most dangerous solder in Indian history. She
carried baby and went to the front line, battling for independence of the country.
I spent 10 days working with volunteers, cutting 300 large scale stencils.
Rather production itself, It was great challenge for me to unite everyone’s
energy by speaking 3 different languages, Hindu, Japanese and English at
the same time, but it went all good at the end though.
