Aiton & Co Ltd Engineering Works, Stores Road, Derby

The office block at Aiton & Co Ltd was built in 1931 to designs by Norah Aiton and Betty Scott. It is one of the earliest industrial buildings designed by a partnership of women architects. Aiton & Co specialised in pipework, including for use on ships.
