Heel axe, rectangular in section with twin loop, made in bronze in a bivalve mould. It was found at Mount Larragain (Arrasate, Gipuzkoa). The rings were used to secure the shaft, possibly of wood. This type of axe is common throughout the Atlantic area and date from the Late Bronze Age (1200 - 850 BCE).
