Ak-Saray translates as "White Palace". By the XX century, the structure was almost completely destroyed. In 1924-1925, a large-scale operation was carried out to preserve the building. In 2007 Aksaray was subjected to a complete restoration. The contrast of gold, carved ceilings, elegant patterns, architectural delights, which is present in the decor of the premises, is a truly amazing reincarnation of the mausoleum. The single-domed structure, nondescript from the outside, inside is a masterpiece of Oriental decor. The marble crypt is connected to the main room under the dome by a long corridor designed as a staircase. On the walls there is a mosaic of bright glaze, ornaments on the walls intersect with each other, representing an endless canvas.
