Alan Turing Memorial, Sackville Park, Fairfield Street, Manchester

The Alan Turing Memorial depicts the mathematician and computing scientist seated on a bench in Sackville Park. Although born in London, Turning settled in Wilmslow following his appointment as deputy director of the Manchester Computing Laboratory.
