Players wear uniforms consisting of long-sleeved, button-down shirts, full-length trousers, and a belt lettered "National." Lansing (at far right) holds a cap ornamented with a star and a bat. Waddell (the pitcher) holds a ball. A scorebook rests on the table in front of Bruce (scorer).
Many of the players wear silk ribbons printed with the club names of opposing teams pinned to their jerseys. Photographer's stands are visible amongst the club members' feet and chair legs.
