In 1990, the British alternative rock band Sonic Youth released their sixth studio album: Gloo. This work quickly came to be considered one of the most iconic albums of the time. Raymond Pettibon (Arizona, United States, 1957), linked to the punk and rock music scene since his youth, was responsible for the legendary cover depicting Maureen Hindley and David Smith, relatives of Myra Hindley, who had been the protagonist of a lurid story of love and murder that shocked British society at the time.
