Illustrated Hebrew alphabet board for teaching children to read in European Sephardic communities.
It consists of a single sheet with the content distributed in three columns. The side columns contain blessings and prayers and the central column contains the letters of the alphabet with their different forms of punctuation.
Below them, there is an engraving of an angel congratulating diligent students and a teacher punishing a student who shows no interest. All of this is framed by a decorative border with fleur-de-lis motifs.
