Poeta started painting graffiti in the 90s, creating letter based pieces through the city and his native barrio of Villa Ballester.

As his style evolved he broke away from letter based pieces, and began creating abstract works which explore the relationship between form and colour, and the interaction between geometric and organic forms. His style is arresting and equally powerful on urban walls as it is in a gallery environment.
