Alice Andrew

Alice was a survivor who face the massacre with her own eyes as a city that she helped to nurture as a citizen turned their back on her. She is testament to the resilience of the human spirit as she sits in the photo with the dignity of a woman who was spared by the horror of the 1921 Massacre in Tulsa.
