The four original members of Fanny were June Millington (guitar, vocals), Jean Millington (bass, vocals), Alice de Buhr (drums, vocals), and Nickey Barclay (keyboards, vocals).

Alice: "I cut my long hair off in May of 1972, to the dismay of management and fans alike. I’d fought for over a year to get 'permission,' got tired of waiting, and just did it! This photo, taken during a performance at the Whiskey A G0-Go and hiding part of part of my face with drumstick and equipment, gives a little bit of light on focus. It was the focus we all had on stage, at rehearsals and in the studio."
