This aliya was another example being used as a shrine. Two bajot (low surfaces) were placed within the niche which were used to keep framed prints of deities. The edge of the aliya had a wooden frame and remnants of metal fittings which indicate that this aliya might have previously had a shutter to form an in-built cabinet.
