"As a partner with the Maricel capital devoted to the “Allegory of the Diligence”, he sculpted the “Allegory of Laziness”, represented by a fat man who lies asleep under a tree next to a snail and a turtle, both symbols of slowness. As in the medieval capitals, Jou added a lot of symbolic elements."
