Real Fossil - Jurassic 15 Mya - Warm Springs Ranch, Thermopolis Wyoming
This allosaur skull was found disarticulated but associated in the TYA quarry. Most dinosaur skulls are found in this way, as the fragile bones separated once the ligaments keeping them together decayed. The jaws are lined with 33-39 serrated teeth that become shorter, more narrow and more curved toward the back of the skull.
