This almari was recorded in the workshop of a carpenter. The middle shelf was used as a shrine and the bottom one was used to store the carpenter’s tools. A radio placed on the top shelf played local music while the carpenter worked. A bandarwal which had Shubh Deepavali written on it was hung from nails at the top, indicating that it would have been put up during Diwali.
