  • Physical Description: Sample of cut and loop pile moquette with brown fabric bound edge and two eyelets. The pattern is a geometric design wtih stylised line motifs in green and brown over a brown and green grid pattern on a beige ground. This pattern is known to have been among the first commissioned by Christian Barman for the 1938-tube stock, although it is not known if moquette of this pattern was used to upholster any vehicles in service. This sample was displayed in un-restricted natural light for several years and may be faded.
