Alpha and Omega

An oil on canvas painting by the South African artist Speelman Mahlangu (1958-2004) titled Alpha and Omega, completed in 2000. The work was bought from the retrospective exhibition of the artist at the Everard Read Gallery in 2006. Short Biography: Speelman Makwe Mahlangu was born in Germiston in 1958 and enrolled in the Katlehong Art Centre in 1977. His work is mostly about African folklore and traditions. He passed away in 2004.
