Altarpiece of St. Maria de les Omedes

"This altarpiece comprises three panels. In the centre, the Mother of God is sitting with two angels with the traditional Calvary crowning the scene, and on the sides there are six scenes from the life of the Virgin.
Thus, the first composition on the panel to the left of the viewer corresponds to the Annunciation the angel Gabriel made to Mary; the panel on the right depicts the Visitation of Mary to her cousin, Elizabeth. Moving downwards, the second painting shows the Nativity on one side and, on the other, the Epiphany.
Finally, at the bottom is the narration of the Escape from Egypt and the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple. On the frames between each panel there are diverse figurations of prophets, and saints. As regards the predella – the frame at the bottom of the altarpiece – there is no information about where it is today."
