The Hall of Mirrors in the Amalienburg hunting lodge on the grounds of the Nymphenburg Palace, in Munich, Germany. The Rococo style building was constructed in the 1730s, by François de Cuvilliés, for the Holy Roman Emperor Charles VII and his wife, Maria Amalia of Austria. The intricate patterns that shimmer on the walls are are of silvered wood carvings and stucco bas relief.
