Amandine Urruty is born in 1982 in Toulouse. She lives and works in Toulouse.
After several years studying art history and a short career as a singer, Amandine spreads her repertoire of animals and beasts and her gallery of weird characters on all kind of mediums. making posters, illustrations or body-painting on French singer Philippe Katerine, she has recently had her first solo show in Toulouse, while working on her first comic book, entitled “Papatte” and based on a story by the same above-mentioned Philippe K.
Nicolas Barrome, born in Saint Jean de Luz, France in 1980 studied applied arts in Bordeaux. Shortly after his studies he creates with his friends the art collective Jeanspezial. Firstly he paints walls with his friends and his imagery evolves quickly when he discovers other techniques like print making which will have a great impact on his work. He is passionate about cinema and setting, obsessed by textures and wefts; his universe is very detailed and has several levels of reading. By computer or with more traditional techniques (drawing, painting, print), his work is constantly nourished from new discoveries, techniques and desires.
