Sculpture representing a child in indigenous costumes fighting a snake; with both hands, he holds the animal's head. The piece is part of a set of five sculptures by children representing the five continents: Africa, Asia, America, Europe and Oceania. Were acquired and placed in the park of the Palácio do Catete in 1896, during the reform carried out to house the Presidency of the Republic.
