During the 1978 Nisei Week Japanese Festival, the then-Los Angeles Committee for Redress & Reparations displays the Visual Communications mobile photo exhibit AMERICA'S CONCENTRATION CAMPS. The exhibit was strategically placed at the entrance to Sumitomo Bank, an entity which contributed to the corporate displacement of Little Tokyo residents.
