As a native of Tulsa, Brian's photography has the theme of the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921 drawn out of almost every photo. He has a way of challenging the conversation of what it means to be black in an America that often burns with the sensation to discriminate against its own citizens. We are transparently apart of the story of American yet we are often hidden from the light of socio-economic good and transformation.
