Amor de Sertanejo– rama em 2 actos (Countryman Love–Drama in two acts)

The plot tells the story of a crime of passion involving the protagonist José, who murders his partner, Paulo, Maria's partner. In the first scene, Maria rejects José, apparently because she is engaged to Paulo. José, driven by jealousy, ambushes and stabs Paulo. Later, what appears to be the local population gathers to take José to jail, where, in the final scene, he cries in his cell.
