Released in 1967, the "Master Maker" MM-1000 was the first professional 16 track audio recorder put into mass production. It was built on the chassis of a 2" Quad video deck and allowed the user new and innovative tools such as "Sel-Sync" for overdubbing. It became the model for high quality, low noise, multitrack audio recording.
