Amongst the 17th-century Portuguese-made pieces, attention is drawn to a narrow-necked, bulging pot from the first half of the 17th century, made of faience with a cobalt-blue decorative underglaze on a white background, a circular base and four symmetrical handles placed vertically. The exemplary nature of this piece derives not only from its formal structure, but also from its decoration, combining stylised plant motifs with three anthropomorphic figures in a free and spontaneous interpretation.
