Also known as the Aluminium Bungalow, the AIROH prefabricated house was designed by Morrisons Engineering Company. An acronym of the Aircraft Industries Research Organisation for Housing, AIROH was a result of wartime aircraft manufacturers needing to diversify production after the Second World War.
