In this image concerning the fate of Babylon, Saint John reads from a book as an angel throws a large stone into the sea. The text explains that the stone is a great millstone and that the angel casts it into the water saying: "Babylon, that great city, will be thrown down with like vehemence, and will not be found ever again." (Apocalypse 18:21)
