Holi is a popular, traditional Hindu festival. In Odisha, it is celebrated as Dola Purnima, a festival devoted to Lord Jagannath. Idols of Lord Govinda and Goddess Sridevi are placed on the dola bedi and the palanquin is taken on a procession. The festival is also celebrated with the crowd playing with Holi colours.
