There are three almost identical oil paintings of Tan Kim Seng. This version by Qu Chiqing (attributed by Peter Lee) hung over the ancestral altar in the family home in Singapore called Panglima Prang. Based on an earlier watercolour, the painting shows him as a traditional Chinese scholar-gentleman.
