The position a little bend forward, the wrinkles that furrow his face and the semi toothless mouth that this human figure depicts, clearly indicate that it is the representation of an elder in an unmistakable Mexica style. It is dressed simply with a loincloth or máxtlatl tied up with a decorative knot at the front. The position of his hands suggests that some objects were put in the holes that are left by the closed fingers, and the orifices in the ears surely served to place some stone or wooden earflaps. It was common to put seashell and obsidian or pyrite inlays in the cavities of the eyes and a green stone in the chest hole to give some life to the figure, but in most cases these have been lost.
