Ruby Chavez is a self-taught visual artist and all-around creative. Her more personal work focuses on the deep significance of human dynamic within social, political, and cultural issues. Although much of her recognizable paintings are celebrity portraits, her creative range is wide. Her experience includes fine art, murals, installations, set design, logo design, creative directing, and apparel. Each project often consists of multiple works, often in a range of different media and mediums grouped around specific themes and meanings. Her attention to detail is her greatest talent.
This unique skill set has opened doors for her to work with high profile public figures like Trap Music Museum, BET, Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward Public Beautification Project, Atlanta Braves, Articulate Atlanta, and Sneaker Ball just to name a few. Check out her works on display at the Trap Music Museum in the following exhibits, Gucci’s Kitchen, T.I Gun Closet, Juicy J, Lil Boosie, and the OG Room.
