Andre

Ange says: "I had the absolute honour of painting Andre who is an Advanced Specialist Podiatrist in Podiatric Surgery. In response to Covid-19 he was redeployed as a Health Care Assistant to a dedicated Covid ward at Ikeston Community Hospital where he risked his own life to care for others. We are so very blessed to have amazing, compassionate and skilled people like Andre and I am truly humbled by the example they are to us all."

Andre says: "Working on a Covid ward during this pandemic is an experience I could never have imagined for myself. I am proud to be able to put my position as a Staff Podiatrist on hold and assist this incredible team. Special mention must go to all nurses who I now know from working alongside are true super heroes. We must never forget how incredible the NHS is, never more so than now."
