This windowpane, acquired in 1874 from St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, is a magnum opus of Viennese glasswork from the mid-14th century. It was part of a cycle that was replaced by panes from the 19th century. The portrayal of the Annunciation of Mary’s Mother Anna corresponds with the simultaneously created sculptures of the Women’s Choir in St. Stephen’s.
