Antheraea mylitta, Tasar Silkmoth

Commonly known as the Tasar or Vanya Silkmoth, this moth is native to India. As larvae, the Tasar silkworms produce Tussar silk, a type of wild silk made from Saturniid silkworms rather than domesticated silkworms (Bombyx mori).
