Anti-Suffragisms Illustrated, Woman's Place Is In The Home, Who will then earn the Daily Bread?'. Produced by the Woman's Press as propaganda for the pro-women's suffrage campaign. The postcard depicts the irony of the 'separate spheres' argument that woman's place was in the home, the private sphere whilst the public sphere was the world of men and work. Here a daughter is seen going out to work to support the family whilst the man of the house is indisposed, this being the reality for many particularly working class and poorer families.
