Félix Bonfils opened a studio in Beirut in 1867. His son, Adrien, was a
partner and operated the business until 1894 when the firm was bought out
by Abraham Guiragossian. Bonfils' wife Lydia was also a photographer.
All views marked "Bonfils" prior to 1878 were taken by Felix.
