Antique Newspapers: The Edinburgh Evening Courant

From a collection of antique newspapers containing articles relevant to Black British history; these are often regarding the Translantic Slave Trade, however some articles relate to musicians, sportsmen and British imperialism.
This copy of The Edinburgh Evening Courant includes a report on an uprising of enslaved people on the Nancy off the coast of New Calabar, Nigeria on 11 January (second page, second column).
